Goshen Village I

Children like play Jenga because they like knocking it down.

Books: The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein- one of the children liked counting the apples. Another liked the boy and the tree.  But didn't like the boy becoming old.

One of the children liked the Zyathura book(read only part of it..) liked adventure part of it.Some of them watched Leo & Stich liked the ride and greeny.

One of the children read the Great Wolf & Woodsman.  They liked the wolf in the house and cutting bricks.

Another child read More for for me by Cindy Meltzer Klentez.  Here is what this child told me about it:

Sister I want more pushes the bowl I want more.  Wants alot more.  Crying washed dishes with big sister.  Scoops out beans.  Jumped out of  bed got dressed.  More on plate.  Wanted more toast.  His sister sneaking toast.  Then wanting more.

Also I had a couple of  children doing the USA flag-floor puzzle. They liked looking for animals on it. They finished putting it together; even if 2 pieces were missing. They liked doing puzzles.

Here are somethings going on in Tulare CA - At Threads of Love Thrift Store - They need volunteers: Mon-to Sat.  They are open from 9AM-5PM .  You can just volunter all day or 1/2 day.  Just a few hours.  They need lots of volunteers.

Here is someting going on year round in Visalia CA:  Free dental service at San Joaquian Valley collge, (559) 651-1617.  This is what they do:  Clincial examination and medical history, X-rays of teeth if not taken within 12 months.  Teeth Cleaning and Polishing.  Fluoride treatment, sealants and preventive dental care education.
