Starting Strong and Arts 'n' Crafts @Biola Village

In August, our young residents at Biola Village have been working really hard to keep their focus on their homework to start the school year. We also decided to do some arts 'n' crafts with treasure boxes. They did an excellent job and had lots of fun. Fall is almost upon us and we can't wait for Fall projects.

Pizza Party and Icebreaker Activities @Lincoln Plaza

As summertime comes to an end and as the students at Lincoln Plaza have begun their new school year, we have been keeping busy here at the after school program. We had an end of summer pizza party right before school started. The focus of this month was to get to know each other a little better. We created an "all about me" booklet and and other related activities. We are all very excited to see what this school year will be like.

Alphabet Letters and Creature Activity @Solinas Village

As the school year has begun to take off, our young residents here thought it would be great to practice the alphabet with some arts 'n' crafts. They decided on R and S and created some really good snakes and rabbits to integrate them with their letters.

Arts 'n' Crafts with Critters @Solinas Village and Washington Plaza

For the month of August @Solinas Villas and Washington Plaza, we gathered to make some critters at the community centers. This was important for us to do indoors because of the heat this summer. The residents did an amazing job making these critters and had lots of fun.

Piñatas Activity at Cottonwood Creek

Last month our young residents had to return to school, which was exciting for some but also difficult for others because summer vacations were over. So after some brainstorming, they decided to make some piñatas. They had lots of fun and helped each other make the best piñatas possible. Thanks to everyone who was able to attend this community event. Have a good rest of your day!

Fans and a Joke @Parksdale II

This year's summer has been beyond warm, so @Parksdale II we decided to make some fans to tackle this issue. The residents did an excellent job using different color combinations and the results were great. The participants got creative and had a great time as well. Thank you to everyone who was able come by and make these fans with us.
