Arts n Crafts @Goshen Village II

The past few months have been incredibly eventful here at Goshen Village II. The participants completed a variety of Arts n Crafts activities that included flutes, scarecrows, and pumpkins. They also painted some pictures of their favorite ice cream, and trees. Not to mention we did some baking and produced some delicious chocolate chip cookies through a team building activity in collaboration with the Girl Scouts. We are excited to see what 2020 brings for us here and can't wait to post about it. Enjoy your day everyone!

Holiday Activities @Villa del Rey

Every year we celebrate holidays here at Villa del Rey with our participants. This year we made decorations for holiday party and there was a few Christmas trees that the children made within the last 15 days for Christmas to open a day at a time and get a treat inside. The results for the decorations came out very well and the participants even made some dogs with holiday clothes on them. It is safe to say that everyone had a great time.

Turkey Day Thanks @Lincoln Plaza

The students at Lincoln Plaza had lots of fun this past November. We created hand art with things to be thankful for. In addition to that, we wrote some stories about Fall season and Thanksgiving. Lastly, we made it an emphasis to learn and grow our knowledge concerning our peer's traditions according to their cultures and families for the holidays.

November Activities @Biola Village

It is starting to look a lot like Christmas! Here at Biola Village November was a blast. We enjoyed many fall projects which included painting paper leaves to wooden ones. We also worked on getting along with friends. The participants also did a Thanksgiving activity and we shared what were thankful for. Most at Biola Village agreed to being thankful for family and friends! We ended the month with a movie and a turkey contest, there were many outstanding turkeys to choose from, but we could only pick 3 winners. We are super happy to start this month and the projects that await!

Sunset @Lincoln Plaza

October was a month filled with fun activities. We created beautiful flowers and spooky spiders out of paper plates. The cooler weather allowed us to do outside activities like sidewalk chalk art and painting under the trees. As the days got shorter we had an idea to paint the sunset. We called our paintings "A sunset at Lincoln Plaza". Here are a few pictures.

Fall Activities @Biola Village

For this year's first fall activity at Biola Village, the residents wanted to to do some painting. They decided to make some butterflies, lanterns, and masks. Their creations came out really well, and their efforts paid off too. Thank you for coming out here to join us for this activity. Have a wonderful day everyone!
