Lincoln Plaza

Good Afternoon Educators,

Here at the Lincoln Plaza we have finally finished our scarecrows and we are beginning with some awesome fall leaves and apple activities.  We have decided to choose activities that take up plenty of our time before the holidays are here. It seems like it was just summer and with a blink of an eye it is apple picking season.

This week my students and I discussed what activities they would like to do, some said more scarecrow and apple stuff and less of the wii challenge. So this week we focused on finishing all our scarecrow items along with beginning new ones. We have also added some apple thank you cards for our parents.

Each student has made two of them and dedicated them to their parents and thanking them for any reason they have to be thankful for. One example, a student thanked her mother for all the sacrifice she has done for them in order to get that life she couldn’t have.  So in return I did an appreciation card for all of my students for being who they are and keeping up with being STARS.

Last week our students learned how to write their names in Hieroglyphics and many of them learned how to be patient.

Students also got to do a decoration for Mardi Gras and learned that the balloon wasn't a head, we also did a paper scarecrow where the students developed a few skills in the art and science of using scissors.

Here is some of our fall art work that we have created so far...with more to come.

Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Ms. Angie
