Cottonwood Creek

During these past few weeks we have been busy creating different crafts. First off, we started to make a classroom quilt. Each child got a piece of colored felt and some fabric markers. They went on to design and sketch what they wanted to go on the piece of fabric. Once they had it decorated and were satisfied with the work they had done they let it dry. We hung it on a wall, that way all of us got to enjoy the works of art!

Since the kids were also celebrating the end of the school year we made a memory book, which they got to color, decorate, and put together.

After that, they had a "autograph" day where they got to get their peers' signatures and wrote messages in the book they had created as a keepsake of the year.

We also started to do some fun physical games that would be suitable indoors because the weather is so unforgiving. The kids seem to like them and might even play them inside their own homes.

Father's Day is coming up, so we started working on their gifts, poems, and refrigerator magnets. Photos to come next week! Hope everyone enjoys their weekend with their father/father figure!
