Good morning! The after school coordinator in Dinuba has been using creative activities for the kids. Allowing the kids to have a friendly competition yet the ability to work together to pick a winner is wonderful. Activities that have multi-purposes is great for the kids as they grow up.
Greetings from Viscaya Gardens in Dinuba, for this month of
July we have so many fun activities planned and done. One of the recent
activities that we did was painting. I let the kids be creative and free to
design what ever they wanted to. However, this did have a twist to it, which
was the best painting would win a prize. All the kids enjoyed voting and having
the chance to win a prize. I also like to hear the children's ideas and
incorporate them, one of the recent ideas they brought to me was doing a pot
luck and making slime. I planned it and we did it, with everyone's help. This
Friday like many others we have "movie day" where we enjoy watching a
movie and eating popcorn.
