Turkey Day Thanks @Lincoln Plaza
The students at Lincoln Plaza had lots of fun this past November. We created hand art with things to be thankful for. In addition to that, we wrote some stories about Fall season and Thanksgiving. Lastly, we made it an emphasis to learn and grow our knowledge concerning our peer's traditions according to their cultures and families for the holidays.

November Activities @Biola Village
It is starting to look a
lot like Christmas! Here at Biola Village November was a blast. We enjoyed many
fall projects which included painting paper leaves to wooden ones. We also worked on getting along with friends. The participants also did a Thanksgiving activity and we shared what were
thankful for. Most at Biola Village agreed to being thankful
for family and friends! We ended the month with a movie and a turkey contest, there were many outstanding turkeys to choose from, but we could only pick 3 winners. We are super
happy to start this month and the projects that await!

Sunset @Lincoln Plaza
October was a month filled with fun activities. We created beautiful flowers and spooky spiders out of paper plates. The cooler weather allowed us to do outside activities like sidewalk chalk art and painting under the trees. As the days got shorter we had an idea to paint the sunset. We called our paintings "A sunset at Lincoln Plaza". Here are a few pictures.

Nature Art Activities @Lincoln Plaza
The students at Lincoln Plaza have been keeping busy
creating beautiful fall nature art. Nature art is art using natural materials found outside like leaves, petals and grass. We turned sticks into fairies and created beautiful portraits of ourselves. The highlight of our art activity included our crowns we adorned with leaves, plants, flowers and feathers too. We are very excited to see what more art we can create now that it is fall.
